This is the Burnie Glacier Chalet. It was just built a few years ago so it seems very new inside. It was built by local guide Christoph Dietzfelbinger who is originally from Bavaria. His roots have played an important role in guiding his design and craftsmanship of the hut. It is very reminiscent of a hut one might find somewhere in the Alps. It was warm, clean, and a delight to stay in. The sauna in the basement was a recent and very welcomed addition. It was so nice to return from a day out in the cold to a warm and relaxing sauna.
