Dan Hehir skiing down the lower apron of "Snake Couloir" on the North Face of Mount Sneffels. The angle let up considerably here and we were able to open it up with some fun, fast, big turns down into Blaine Basin. Our plan was to ski ddown into the basin, then skin back up and over "Lavender Col" to descend into Yankee Boy Basin from where we came. However, the weather changed shortly after this photo and we were chased back down into Blaine Basin by a thunder storm. Upon our return, we had to ski these same slopes in white out conditions, which was not easy. A call to my wife got us a pick up from the trail head to Blaine Basin.
