This picture is from lower down in the "Narrows" Couloir on the north face of the Sultan. The Narrows slices through the upper cliffband deep inside from below where a narrow notch in the skyline can be seen; it is the second notch from the left. The skiing down this lower apron was wonderful. It seemed to never end and just kept on going at a delightful angle of about 30-35º for several thousand vertical feet until we arrived at the valley floor.
