The art of mountain guiding is a profession to be taken seriously. Vince Anderson, Owner and Lead Guide of Skyward Mountaineering, has undergone extensive training and examination culminating in his achievement of full IFMGA certification. This internationally recognized standard is the highest level of certification available to professional mountain guides. As well, he is certified by the American Mountain Guides’ Association as an Alpine Guide, a Rock Guide, and a Ski Mountaineering Guide. He holds a Level III Avalanche certification, and is also certified as a Wilderness First Responder.
