Grand Junction Regional Airport offers convenient daily flights and is central to the base of operations for this program.
A personal or rental car is necessary as this program is based in a remote area. 2WD is acceptable, all roads are well maintained.
Climbers will camp together in Escalante Canyon. Campsites are primitive with no running water or bathrooms, though your guide will provide water jugs and wag bags in accordance with Leave No Trace principles in a fragile desert environment. Clinic participants are responsible for providing their own camping and cooking equipment. Campsites are drive-up access so vans or car camping is acceptable.
