Bobby Cosker
Guide
Originally from New England, Bobby moved west in 2007 to finish college and to pursue his passion for climbing in the bigger mountains. Since then, he has climbed and skied extensively around the world, with expeditions across South America, Europe, the Canadian Rockies and throughout the U.S. He has over 45 expeditions into the Central Alaska Range and served as a VIP Climbing Ranger on Denali with the National Park Service.
Bobby has been guiding full time since 2022 and now follows the seasons, guiding and climbing in Ouray and Utah during the winter, and in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest through the summers. He is especially passionate about remote, exploratory alpine routes and sharing the craft and lessons of the mountains with others. When he’s not guiding, Bobby is found enjoying multiple strong cups of coffee, cooking for others, training and climbing with friends.
Bobby is an AMGA Assistant Alpine Guide, Assistant Rock Guide, and Apprentice Ski Guide. He is currently working towards his IFMGA certification.
