Committing alpine routes and expeditions require specific prerequisites depending on the objective. Overall, the more alpine climbing experience you have the more/better route options exist

Length varies from done-in-a-day missions such as in RMNP to 3 day trips in the North Cascades to 2 week expeditions in South America
