Carly enjoys all styles of climbing including traditional, sport, ice, alpine, mixed and bouldering and choosing what type of climbing trip comes next is always her crux. Growing up in New Jersey, she saw a mountain for the first time when she was 20 years old and was introduced to climbing when she was 23. With that, she brings extra psych and determination to make up for the time lost in the vertical world and high places, and guiding allows her to share that excitement with others. She’s been working as a guide for 8 years and has lived in the San Juan Mountains for 10 years. What makes home so special to her is being able to spend one day climbing world class cracks and unique desert towers and long classic water ice routes in the mountains the next. When she isn’t climbing you can more-often-than-not find her snuggling her pug, teaching pilates, making food with friends, and spending time with her partner Jesse.

Carly is an Assistant Rock Guide and Apprentice Alpine Guide. She has worked in Colorado, Utah, and Alaska, while personal climbing all over the world.
