Guided Ice Climbing In The Lake City Ice Park

Lake City is home to the second largest ice park in Colorado and quickly becoming a destination for reliable ice climbing on the steep and tall cliffs. Secluded in the small town of Lake City, the Ice Park has nearly 100 routes, most over 100ft tall! Set at a higher elevation and tucked into the Colorado mountains, this remote mountain town is still a well kept secret in winter months and less busy than the neighboring Ouray Ice Park. Come visit Lake City for a private ice climbing experience on the towering vertical cliffs of ice or venture into the nearby backcountry for a classic multipitch route, such as the classic Sherman Route.
